Project Read 2020


Project READ 2020 (PR2020), a summer reading intervention program, took place within three Boys & Girls Clubs over the summer of 2013. This program was for members reading at or below grade level.

Goals for Graduation


Goals for Graduation introduces academic goal setting to Club members 6-18 by linking their future aspirations with concrete actions today.

Power Hour


Power Hour provides Club professionals with strategies, activities, activities, resources and information to create an engaging homework help and tutoring program that encourages Club members 6-12 and 13-18 to become self directed learners.

Club Tech


Club Tech utilizes three levels of animate lessons in which members learn skills in various Microsoft software programs, including Word, Excel, Power Point, Access, Publisher and Digital Image Pro.

Money Matters


Money Matters promotes financial responsibility and independence among Club members ages 13-18. Participants learn how to manage a checking account, budget, save and invest, start a small business and pay for college.

Junior Staff is a practical, user friendly small group program that assists Club members ages 13-18 in exploring a career in youth or human services.

Career Launch


Career Launch is The Boys and Girls club premier career development program providing a range of services to help Club members develop the skills essential for workforce success. This includes not only getting and keeping a job, but also finding a career that fits each member's interests and talents.

Be Great

 

Graduate is an initiative that targets young people most vulnerable for dropping out of school. This comprehensive strategy is based on the University of Minnesota's evidence based model and consists of three components: Mentor-Youth Relationships, Intentional Tracking and Enhancing Club School Home Partnership and Communication.
